Debra Burr:
Debra is the President
and artistic director of The Dance Exchange. She has over 25
years experience in dance ranging from performer, choreographer
and teacher. Debra is certified to teach by the Dance
Masters of America teachers association, as well as by the
A.D.A.P.T syllabus. She prides herself in operating a well
disciplined, fun, organized and highly qualified school of
dance. Currently, Debra is completing her B.A. Dance
Degree at York University.

Sharon Keenan:
Sharon has
enjoyed the art of dance for over 25 years. She is trained under
the R.A.D ballet syllabus and has received her B.F.A in Dance at York
University as well as her Dance Diploma from Ryerson Polytechnical
Institute. Sharon has been a member of our full time faculty for
the past 10 years and is best known for her warm "motherly" approach to
teaching.

Allison Holwell:
"Our Administrative Bright
Light". Allison has been with The Dance Exchange for the
past 10 years and is the friendly voice and smiling face which
greets The Dance Exchange family. She not only has
impeccable people skills, Allison also expands her talents to
the stage with her costume designs, rhinestoning and painting of
costumes. She is "The Queen of Multi-Tasking" and the
warmth that makes a home. |

Daniel Dyer:
Recipient of Junior Mr. Can-Dance 1996, Teen Mr. Can-Dance 1998 and
senior Mr. Can-Dance 2004. Dan has spent the past 11 years as a
Dance Exchange student, dedicated to the art of dance. He has
enjoyed a very successful competitive career and is currently attending
Sheridan College of Applied Arts and Technology. Upon completion,
Dan will receive a diploma in Theatre Arts - Performance which will
strengthen his already proven talents. His choreography is well
received by both peers and judges and has been awarded several
choreography awards in his new career.

Meghan Campbell:
Meghan is the youngest member
of our faculty and is our very own home grown dancer. She
has spent the past 10 years displaying her talents as a
competitive dancer and an up and coming teacher. Meghan has
received numerous overall high scoring and special dance awards
throughout her competitive career, and is the proud recipient of
"top honour" marks for her Tap and Jazz A.D.A.P.T exams. |

Ashley Pividor:
Ashley
comes to us with 20 years of experience as a dancer, teacher,
choreographer and adjudicator. Ashley has trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz,
Hip-Hop and Lyrical. He spent his young years training with The Dance
Exchange and furthered his training at Performing Dance Arts. Ashley has
an extensive background in teaching and has received numerous
choreography awards both in Canada and United States. Ashley looks
forward to sharing his love of dance with the students of The Dance
Exchange and we welcome him back HOME!

Amanda Valela:
Amanda has been a student
at The Dance Exchange for the past 10 years training in Tap, Jazz,
Ballet, Lyrical, Modern and Hip-Hop. She teaches Ballet, Tap, and
Jazz to our young recreational students. Amanda has received
"highly commended" marks on her dance exams and has enjoyed enormous
success as a competitive dance student. She is now attending
Ryerson University where she is pursuing her degree in Business
Management. We are happy to have Amanda on our staff for another
exciting dance year.
